
This image is an example of birds eye perspective. This is when a camera is angled down from above to take a picture. Using a birds eye perspective for this photo adds interest to the normally basic plant and created a feeling of it coming through the image and being 3-D. I chose this photo because the element is really strong and easy to spot.

This photo is high contrast because it displays a distinct change between the bright and dark colors. The lighter areas have a stark difference to their black neighbors. I used contrast in this photo to accentuate the detailed lines and shapes in the ceiling where the sun was shining, compared to the black shady negative space. This is one of my two images I chose because I like how the colors and lighting turned out. To me, it is very aesthetically pleasing.
